Quick thoughts on the Super Bowl thus far
IT SUCKS!!!! Very few good commericials, and the game has been boring thus far...hence why I am updating in the middle of it.
One final thought. The media is sporting a serious erection for Ben Roethlisberger. I want to correct a story here...sure all have heard, but no the media is playing the "Ben Got Snubbed" card. First off, the guy has been out of high school for six years. Shut the fuck up about high school already. Jesus Christ, is he that big of a has been, or is the media that worthless for a story? Now the true story is this. Yes, the coaches son started at quarterback. But at that time, he was a RECORD SETTING QB. He was literally the best QB in the history of Findlay high school (until Ben rewrote the record books). Findlay ran an option offense at the time, which was not geared for Ben. Ben was a record setting wide reciever. WHY THE HELL WOULD THEY PUT HIM AT QB, HE WAS THE BEST WIDE RECIEVER, AND THEY HAD THE BEST QB IN HISTORY IN THE SCHOOL CURRENTLY AT THE HELM!!! IT WASN'T ABOUT THE COACHES KID, IT WAS ABOUT WINNING! Now, once he graduated, it was clear Ben would be the best option, so Coach Hite moved an all-state wide reciever to QB...and got laughed at for doing it! He totally revamped the offense to better suit Ben's ability...yay some snubbing. And the rest is history.
Just gets me that Mr. Perfect Ben doesn't recognize the opportunities that were given to him, or those who helped him i high school, but still allows the misperception of this story. Which, among other reasons, is why I say.....what a jackass!
Will be back in Dayton tonight, and will send pictures of a change I am making to my place for those who want to see them....they will be hilarious!
