I need to stop doing this.

Well I decided to get all nostalgic and go through Ozium's comments. Hard to believe I joined them in the summer of '06. Went all the way back to where I added Eileen and Anabel (sorry Andria, hard to distinguish where you came in). I saw all the old show-goers, all the groupies, and all the ladies that eventually led to my "don't get involved with the fans" policy. Saw the random comments of praise, and the countdowns to our shows. And I remembered them all. I was, after all, the face of the band for quite some time. And I loved that part of it. Engaging new people and introducing them to our music. Sometimes quite literally walking up to complete strangers on the street. I even saw when Kris made our official logo. But I was also reminded that a lot of people over the years seemed to genuinely like us. And when you spend hours upon hours in a hot garage practicing and writing new songs, that really does mean the world to a musician. I miss it like hell. But I think things just changed. Everyone wanted to take it seriously and go to the next level. But no one was actually willing to do it. We had Harley join the band, and he was spectacular. But his parents were pulling the strings. School, work, girlfriend, frat, and all the other BS got in the way and it suddenly became a mission just to practice once a week. I suppose I'm glad that the last show I played with them was the best we ever played. I think it was a testament to the potential that so many people seemed to think we had. Hell, we were fuckin' awesome. Now I'm a bit heart-sad from all this. And I'm patiently waiting for the EP we started recording in August to come out. It would be nice to have something to show for those years of hard work.

It was fun while it lasted...
