I ACTUALLY MANAGED TO FINISH THIS. At the risk of my sanity, though, so I'll be staying away from 20in20s for quite a while now, thank-you very much.
lavender88 goaded me into signing up but she bailed halfway and I had already done like, 8 of the icons so I just went with it ughhh. 20in20s always seem so fun and innocent when you sign up, turn into perfect horrors when you're actually doing the thing, and somehow managed to be fun and makes you want to do it again when you're done? Whaaaaat.
But I did think I had a lot of time so I was initially going to be ambitious with this but something important happened with school and I had to drastically reroute all my available time to worrying over it and being ~stressed so I'm just glad I managed to finish this, even if I wish I had more time because these are more than slapdash.
ALSO. I HATE USING FONT. I WOULDN'T USE 'EM IF I DIDN'T HAVE TO. FONT. is a four-letter F-word.

BROMANCE ● YU YU HAKUSHO IS THE BOMB, MAN. FOREVER.
PROVIDED LYRICS ● I feel awful. I had the grandest ideas for this theme but then I got too tired so I scrabbled
together the easiest caps I had. The first one has "some things are that simple" in it and the second one is, obviously, "i love you".
TEARS ● Sheryl Nome, galatic fairy and goddess of my heart. This colouring is so neon and ugly that I want to bury this icon forever.
RAIN ● There's actually little drops of rain in there, but this cap was a pain to colour so I darkened the background and hoped the umbrella was a clear enough sign.
PAPER TEXTURE ● This reminds me of a kiwi.
SILHOUETTE ● Easiest icon of the batch and I reused the PSD for this icon on most of the other icons. Halfway making this I suddenly fancied that the two of them were looking up at the sky thinking of Phryne and I just. UGH. Stupid show and your adorable ot3 of family-ness.
SKINSHIP ● TBH I almost stuffed this post full of Toradora icons but but but this scene was precious okay.
WINTER ● Hardly wintry, but I defy the seasons.
VILLAIN ● Kiraboshi, favourite group of bad-assery and flawless existences BLESS THE COSTUME DEPARTMENT
CATEGORY SET ● Of course I would go with CLAMP's works. Initially I was very ambitious with this set and had 1298234 ideas, the main one being to incorporate ASoIaF house sigils into the icons- Kamui and Fuuma for House Targaryen, our favourite trio of detectives for House Baratheon, flawless fierce fabulous ladies from RG Veda for House Martell, Kurogane for Greyjoy while Fai belongs to the Lannisters aaaand Yuuko and Watanuki tentatively set as House Tyrell. IT FELL APART, MY GLORIOUS PLAN. The sigils were cluttering up the icons so I threw my hands up in despair, ~as you can see.
ARTIST'S CHOICE ● I was seriously contemplating being a cheap bastard and posting the five B&W versions of my category set as my AC set but it did seem too cheap. I was too tired and exhausted and grumpy with everything by then so I ran through my caps folder and picked some caps from my ~caps folder, slapped the same PSD on them, tweaked them a bit and finished the whole thing in less than 20 minutes. I hated it at the moment, but now I kind of like the way they line up etc etc this sequence is one of my favourite in the history of anime and I JUST HAVE A LOT OF FEELINGS ABOUT THIS MOVIE OKAY
