So I'm starting up a website, couple of comics and then something I can honestly say I haven't seen anyone else do yet, but I wont say what just yet. Oh and.. maybe a joint project with my girlfriend, maybe. She's leaving in less than 2 weeks anyway. Wish I could go too... oh well anyway, I got all these ideas in my head but I'm still procrastinating a bit. First off my old wacom is dead and since my new laptop doesn't come with a mouse (of course) and my old mouse is also dying I'm going to go ahead and invest in a Wacom Bamboo fun medium, cheap enough and big enough I think. Until then I don't really have much to edit stuff on my computer asides from the retarded touch pad on the laptop. Anyway I've already said enough of my projects on my old post, I just can't really get up and going till I get my wacom because drawing with a mouse is a no go. I have been drawing a lot more in my sketch books and letting the ideas roll around but until I get the tools I need I can't help but to feel like I'm wasting time when really my biggest foe is just money. bleh.
I wonder how many other people have tried making money on the web instead of working for some bigwig out on a regular job. I'm not going to be a slave for society at a wage thats not even enough to live off. I may be a college drop out but I can't help but to feel I've been underselling myself these past 4 years. Some people have been supportive but I can't help but to feel as if my girlfriend doubts I can do it, usualy that doesn't bug me but then she says I'm pathetic for giving up a new job that pays a meager 1.50 and hour better when it'll just sap up more of my time away from the projects I am planning to work on. Sure my old job sucks and I hate it, but I have so much free time there that I can actually work on my new stuff. Anyway enough pointless chatter.
Here's something I was going to try on my websites later, lets consider this a test more than anything since nobody really reads my journals anymore anyway. Maybe I'll get lucky and some eccentric millionaire somehow stumbles upon my LiveJournal and just goes ape shit insane and decides to donate twenty five thousand dollars because he thinks it'd be funny.
PS. Might start taking commissions for art later after I get some of my current stuff uploaded, anything for cash at this point heh.
