001. Arrival

This is Purgatory, right? It ain't what I expected, I guess. I always thought it'd be a lot more grey, kinda cloudy here, but it's not really so bad. Got a good room, at least, and the food's alright. Could be better, but eh, can't complain, y'know?

I just wish-- Oh, Madonn', Karen...Jesus, or... Heavenly Father, or whoever's in charge here, ( Read more... )

Ja, it could be considered a Purgatory. That depends, my friend, of which role you are: Inmate or Warden. If the former, then yes, the description is apt, as you are likely here to atone for past sin or sins.

How do I find out which one I am?

Wardens usually receive a file on the Barge and all its workings; also, they've spoken to the Admiral prior to arriving.

I guess that makes it easy then. Never done time in my life, and now I'm an inmate in the hereafter.

It is unfortunate. But, on the upside, you couldn't find a better prison.

Well, I got no complaints so far. Doesn't seem very prison-like to me.

This is what it's like for all them white collar criminals, I bet.

It has its perks and benefits, so it remains very unlike a prison. Hopefully soon you'll be assigned a Warden who'll explain what you're supposed to be doing for your rehabilitation. I'm just giving the bare bones, my friend. If you'd like a tour, I can do that as well.

Ahhh backtracking to cover up my "Why didn't Bobby think Kurt's a demon" plot hole calzonewithlegs February 5 2009, 17:16:06 UTC
Thanks, mister.

Say, is that picture really you? This little journal thing, it looks kinda like those 'bloggers' Bobby Jr. uses.

Blue, demonic, tail--yup, all me.

By the way, I notice others seemingly against your faith. If it helps at all, I am Catholic myself.

Yes, there are. Fortunately for you, I'm not one of them. Just look like I am. Strange, no?

I've been here a while, yes.

No, I mean... are you from here? 'Cause they don't got things people like you where I'm from.

Oh, I understand now. I am not from here originally. Prior to the Barge, I was living in New York, in Charles Xavier School for the Gifted.

Huh. New York's weirder than I thought.
