HA!!! Rent was the best thing ever. Neil Patrick Harris did amazing as a director, even though he cut some of the best scenes, I'll have to have a talk with him about that later.. it was absolutely fantastic. I got a shirt, it's purple, and it says "This Diva Needs Her Stage" :D
Skylar Astin, amazing. Wayne Brady, f*cking amazing. Tracie Thoms, *dies*. But the person who surprised me the most was Nicole Scherzinger. I gotta say at first I was hesitant. Maureen is my all time favorite character and I didn't want some Pussycat Doll messing it up. Ooooh was I wrong. She, in my opinion, was right up there with Eden and, dare I say it, Idina. She brought a whole new aspect to the character that was pure hilarity. And it helps that she is totally hott.. The best part was 'Over The Moon', by far. Usually that's not my favorite song, but she freaking brought her A game. Here, observe..
*swoons* I just died btw.. I promised myself if I were ever to be in RENT, I would be Maureen without a doubt. She's kind of awesome. On a side note, Vanessa Hudgens...you can go fall off of a cliff. But only get injured to the point where you can't sing or act anymore, not like seriously seriously injured or anything. Ok thanks :)
