Oooh, I had reindeer meat before! Though I must admit I quite liked it. It's a bit like moose, only different ... if that makes sense. Moose has even more pang to it.

I like getting bison every now and then. Wild boar is tasty. I really should be more adventurous - venison and moose would be eady enough to find.

Yeah, back in the days I liked to try different things, although I did always make sure it was either privately hunted, from a local farm, or organig (which is easier in Europe - the US organic standards are a bit laughable, in my opinion).

The most interesting thing I've recently tried out was to add cinnamon to tomato sauce - amazing results!!!

Yeah, I try to buy local when I can. A lot of the organic stuff that I can have delivered makes me a little iffy.

Oooh, you know, I had a great recipe for raisin chili that called for cinnamon. It was really good! I haven't made it in some time. My husband didn't care for it :-) But the raisins plumped back up into grapes - it was awesome!

Raisin chili sounds very intriguing! Could be a good idea for my next vegan chili project! I like putting raisins in savoury dishes to add a little sweetness.
