Thunderball
Our Sunday night movie was most impressive. It's hilarious that critics thought the runtime of 130 minutes was excessive. It's possibly why the ending felt a little sudden--did they ever rescue the poor scientist? The filmmakers met the challenge to make each successive Bond movie bigger than the last (just like Fast & Furious these days) and the stunts were very complex compared to the previous three movies, although we had to giggle at the undersea fight near the end. It was kind of silly, but definitely memorable!
