Writer's Block: Who's your BFF?
Jamie and I have been friends the longest, since we were 11. Then Christine, Sarah, and Katy, whom I've known all since the same time, tenth grade. Then Katie, from end of tenth/beg. of 11th grade. And then Jen, from probably '02 although it feels like I've known her forever. And now I'm looking at 30, and am still great friends with all of them. Makes me feel lucky. I talk to Jamie pretty much every day although only see her once a year, and Katie next often. See Katie usually at least once a week. Don't see or talk to Katy very much but that's not because I don't want to, it's just kind of how things are. Tend to see Christine, Sarah and Jen not very much, and none are "phonepeople" so we don't talk very often, usually just to make plans, and I don't see them as much as I'd like but being a grown up sort of dictates that. Even though I don't get to spend the time with them I wish I could, it's great to have friends who you know will be there when you really need them, and I hope all of them know the reverse it true as well.
