Since when have I become so obsessed with material things? Naturally everyone likes having things, it roots from the fact that I like looking for things, and I am a very , very , verrrry big fan of fashion too. But my unnerving obsession for burning holes in my pockets--the money that I earn busting my ass, just shooting its self into my social life and image? This can't be good, this can't be good at all.
Things aren't as important as experiences, and what good are experiences if you hardly remember them? What good are they if you exhaust their novelty? I've learned a lesson this week, quit spoiling yourself and things will be better when money falls hard. Not only that, but perhaps it would be more beneficial to put my money into something that isn't just for myself. If I am going to buy something, it should be because I want to support something good. Art, theatre, music, should come before the great meticulous search for something to looking cute in at the bar.
I feel like a total douche but I am glad I've given myself this scolding.
The future is what you make it, no?
merry christmas.
