Idol: Chris Cool/Cornell?

Watched Americal Idol the other night. I think the rocker guy Chris Cook is pretty good, though noticed he borrowed a version of "Happy Together" a few weeks ago from another band. Then last night he did "Billy Jean", except it was Chris Cornell's version from a recent album. Seacrest apparently introduced him as doing Cornell's version, though I missed that, and apparently the judges did too. I just thought it seemed crazy that he tried to pass it off as his own version of it, and the judges praised him for originality for which he seemed to be willing to take credit. Whatever. I still think he's good, just seems a bit odd that he's inventing himself with other people's stuff.
I vote for Carly. She's hot, she can sing, she's Irish, she's a bartender.... the list goes on...
