update
Today is jzsinner's birthday. We did a dinner last night, since it was Saturday night. I can't believe how much i've eaten over this weekend.
I know I haven't updated my journal in a while, so here is a quick update of what has been going on.
I house sat for one of my clients, who is currently on sabbatical from the gym, for 3 weeks. I ended up getting bites on my tummy and back, and jzsinner got some on his legs. So I only stayed at the house for the first 2 weeks, and ended up going to feed the cat and do the house chores for the last few days. I thought the bites are from fleas, but Cheryl, says that it is not likely cause her cat is on advantage, a anti flea med. I don't know what they are from but they are not going to look pretty when i get to belize.
In the midst of this, the Hockey team i built this last season came together when it really counted against a team we could not beat during the regular season and won the league championships. I'm very glad to have finally won an adult league. I hope we can do so well this next season.
I started actually packing today, even though i haven't finished collecting all the stuff i'm going to take with me on my trip to Belize. I can't believe how much stuff Miki actually wants me to bring. There is just soooo much random stuff i have to borrow a bigger suitcase from my roommate.
Anyhow, I leave for my trip on Wednesday night, technically Thursday morning, at 1:40am. I am flying from San Francisco, to San Salvador, El Salvador. El Salvador is south of Belize by about 400 miles or so. Then to Belize City, Belize. The itinerary is to stay on mainland and go to San Ignacio for a few days then head to San Pedro, where Miki lives and works. I am sooo looking forward to my trip.
Miki is my oldest friend, we've known each other since i was in 8th grade. She is in Peace Core and working in Belize on AIDs education.
Anyhow, i'm gonna try to post one more time before i go. ttfn.
