(no subject)
um, okay, so the internet that I am using is seriously fucked up, but whatever. anyway, I went to a Catholic mass on sunday. it was really really interesting. Very different. Luckily we were there with a good catholic boy who knew what he was doing, so even though we screwed up a few times and stood when we were supposed to be kneeling or somesuch, at least we didn't make too much of a fool of ourselves. Afterwards we went to a totally sweet coffee shop. I don't drink coffee, but the atmostphere was very cool, as was our uh, company. That coffee shop does "poetry poker nights" and I really want to go back and find out what it was. It's about time I did something with my poetry for a change.
apparently i'm going to Cali for a couple of days at the beginning of June. I'll get to crash on my newlywed brother's couch. that should be fun. heh. no, it really will be good. we can go to the beach, and hang out, and really just see a bit of each other before I'm gone on the mission.
life is so crazy lately. i need a break, but I don't think that I'm going to be getting one. i mean, theres Cali, then New York, then Grand Canyon/Mesa Verde with teh fam, and eventually the family reunion. just craziness...
