Some are on-going and some, regrettably have fallen by the wayside either due to a lack of interest, a lack of motivation, or real life deciding that there were more important things that needed my attention. Midgar Burning
Midgar Burning is a Valenwind chapter story, again featuring Cid and Vincent, set in an alternate universe or AU. It's an elaborate plot that stars Vincent as the head of an organized crime syndicate and Cid who is the detective assigned to investigate him. What follows is the turbulent development of feelings between the two men as Cid is slowly drawn into Vincent's world and finds out just how difficult it is to survive let alone love a man with a dark past. Will Cid be able to survive? Or will Vincent's enemies use Cid to destroy the one man standing in their way to absolute power over the Midgar underbelly? Rated Mature for sex and violence, so reader discretion is advised. It is on-going, but slow going. It's completion is eventual.

Answered is the collection of stories set in the Final Fantasy VII timeline after geostigma and before Dirge of Cerberus and offers a slightly altered timeline in which Cid and Vincent take a closer look at their friendship. Cid, a man on a straight course begins to feel things towards his friend that shake him deeply and he has to fight to either overcome those feelings or give in to them, and Vincent seriously re-evaluates his need for solitude. In these pieces, silence and I have swapped characters: I write Cid and silence writes Vincent. Titles subject to change. This collection is now complete, the last installment rated Mature for sex, language and adult themes.

Wherever You Will Go
Wherever You Will Go is a cross-over story featuring Laguna Loire from Final Fantasy VIII and Vincent Valentine from Final Fantasy VII. It begins in Midgar, but moves to Esther in the world of Final Fantasy VIII, where Vincent finds a new reason for living after the events of Dirge of Cergerus, in the lovable and awkward Laguna. It follows their relationship and Vincent's introduction to Squall and later the emotionally turbulent Irvine Kinneas as a plot is slowly revealed that includes a threat to Laguna's life. Other familiar characters make appearances throughout the story while Vincent and Laguna find a common ground and learn to live with each other's shortcomings. It is rated Mature for sex, violence and adult themes, so reader discretion is advised. This piece is halted. It's completion is unknown at this time. The authors apologize for all inconvenience and disappointment.

The Salvaged Fate Trilogy
Fractured
Fractured is the beginning of a three-story arc set in canon just before the events of Final Fantasy: Advent Children when Geostigma holds the terrified population of the planet in its grip. It features the beginning of a complex relationship between Tseng, Director of the Turks, and Vincent Valentine, a former member of AVALANCHE, as they have to work together to try and find a cure. It sets the stage to fill in some of the gaps not covered in the movie, as interpreted by the authors. It is rated Mature for sex, violence and adult themes, so reader discretion is advised. It is complete with the Trilogy currently halted. The authors apologize for all inconvenience and disappointment.

Broken
Broken is the second story in the Salvaged Fate Triology and continues the fight against Geostigma, following the Final Fantasy: Advent Children story line. After following a lead on the whereabouts of Jenova's remains, Tseng finds himself at the mercy of three mysterious silver-haired youths along with his subordinate Elena after managing to extract what was left of Jenova's cells. Vincent meanwhile, fights with his guilt at having sent Tseng to the Northern Crater and must now save the man who managed to get past his defenses and reconcile with the fact that he might care about Tseng more than he should. It is rated Mature for violence, torture and adult themes, so reader discretion is advised. It is currently halted with the Trilogy halted as well. Its completion is unknown at this time. The authors apologize for all inconvenience and disappointment.
Bound
Bound is the third, and final, story of the Salvaged Fate Triology following the relationship between Tseng and Vincent and is set immediately following the events of Dirge of Cerberus. Having survived the split with Chaos, Vincent finds himself weakened and crippled by pain. Not expecting to survive and seeing his purpose as fulfilled, he opens his eyes and is stunned at seeing a face he hadn't expected to ever see again. Tseng meanwhile, painstakingly gathered information on Vincent's past in an effort to better understand the man who had given his life a new depth. He now finds himself in a unique position where the tables are turned and he holds an advantage over Vincent. Will they resolve their feelings? Or are they destined to part ways, each having fulfilled the debt to the other? It is currently halted. Its completion is unknown at this time.
