Yawn school. I don't think I need to say much more than that. Only exciting part of the day was watching the end of Shawshank Redemption in Justice class... which I watched yesterday.
Got home, realized I had a baseball game, wondered why I still play the 'most boring professional sport ever'. I find it funny how year after year I happen to sign myself up for the rec league here in Catonsville. After playing rugby for 3 years straight baseball is incredibly slow paced and I have to try my hardest not to fall asleep or get stuck staring at something other than the ball (bugs, the sun, girls, whatever). The game tonight was actually exciting for once very close all the way until the bottom of the last inning where we came back from behind and scored two runs to win the game. I contributed two doubles and a blooper that got me out but scored a run for the team so batting wise I think I faired pretty well.
Well, I got a response from gamepox.com about the editorial position. In order to weed out the hundreds of people who applied for the 19 positions they're asking us all to write a 2000 word sample of work by June 4th, fantastic. I really want the position so I might just go through with it. Wish me luck.
Oh I made up a word last night: Vagesticles. I'll let you figure out what it means.
