Foodie - and maybe aiming a little too high...

New Years is always my night to cook - and I always go a little overboard.
This year? Maybe more than a little.
Planning starts now, as I only have 6 days off between now and New Years (and that includes Christmas and Boxing Day!), so I decided to go for Tapas this year.
Roasted nuts to keep the hordes at bay (while I slave over the stove)
Traditional tapas plate of Patatas Bravas, roasted tomato & butter bean stew, Crispy stuffed mushrooms (two types, plain ones for the one who won't eat anything else, chestnut for the rest of us, as they're too damned nice!!) chargrilled Serrano ham & asparagus, mini artichoke paste & sundried tomato bruschetta, chargrilled chorizo and a goat's cheese, rocket & chicory salad with toasted hazelnuts.
Antipasti (wrong country I know, but it's so goooooooooood!) of artichoke hearts, sundried tomatoes and peppers, smoked anchovies, beetroot and cornichons.
And...
an orange and ricotta filo pie for desert.

Oh yeah.

I'm working New Years eve too.
*headdesk*

I might just need a miracle to pull this off.
