Recced because: What people miss most of all about Peter Pan is that it's downright depressing. And this story captures exactly why.
And Doctor Who is, of course, the best fandom ever to write a tribute to Peter Pan, as the Doctor is already so similar to Peter. Which makes this little ficlet not only depressing, but also very real. It's one of the best parallels to make, and Jayne Leitch captures it beautifully.
