You're welcome! You wouldn't believe how difficult it was to narrow my choices down to seven fics (and seven different sub-genres at that), but my 'rule of thumb' was to choose not only stories I really enjoyed reading, but ones which made me think, gave me fresh or revealing insights into the characters and also stayed in my mind for a long time after I read them. This qualified on all counts :)

Thank you! Yes, this is one of Dune/seti_drd's very best, though all of her fics are definitely worth a look. It's so very cleverly done on a masterful scale - and all with such economy of words.
