Hee! I assisted at a school trip today, and was put with the reception/class 1 tiddlers. It was like trying to herd very small, noisy cats. But they did come out with such gems (eg Farmer: "Just you stand back. I need to see to the electric fence so we can go see the chickens." Jake (aged 4 and three quaters): "Oh, wow! Electric chickens!" and "Miss! Miss! I know what sort of farm this is! It's orgasmic!") and they were so enthusiastic and full of wonder about it all. But - actions and consequences - yep, know exactly what you mean after today!

reception y1, you were brave! could have been worse...nursery, shudders.
many of them are lovely. They are all nice kids. Just need to learn that school is for learning as well as socialising!
