I seem to have missed that story, but congrats anyway!

I think the muse comes because you can't do anything about it, which why mine comes when driving (or when putting together a report yesterday...)

Hee. It was a weird one - an OC of all things, but Spike was there too, and being a little bit bad. I seem to have got the bug for the OC, judging by the current bunny. The muse does tend to call when you least want him, doesn't he. It's been bugging me all day, to the point I'm now all behind on the stupid slide kits. Half me thinks give in and write the story catch up with the work later - who needs sleep? Half of me thinks it'll wait. I'm all afeared it might slip away, though, it's been so long.

How was the invigilating? Did you get to thwack anyone over the knuckles for cheating, or hurl them out of the exam room?

BTW - is your icon shareable? I could use that...

My bunny was an OC too, but no Spike. ::shudder, gasp::

Take some notes - even if you can't get the whole thing down? I have forgotten so many goods ideas, that why I'm permamently glued to a notepad. Of course, then the muse visits half way up the motorway.

No one misbehaved sadly. I got a free lunch and was paid to play Heroes of Might and Magic for four hours!

NO SPIKE???!!! Is there a story like that? Whoa...

I have been doing notes, or trying to - the notes just lure me to write more. I've got 2,500 words of notes, it seems...

Maybe you should get yourself a dictaphone/voice recorder jobbie for the car; then you can make verbal notes while you drive along. Just be careful what you're thinking of - the Spikemuse can be very distracting :)

Heh! Sounds like a fair deal. Although a certain degree of ruler thwaking may have been fun.

It's not unprecedented. I have yet to write a single word of it yet, so there is plenty of time left to forget it!

I was thinking of a brief outline of the idea. I suppose, when the bunny comes, they won't be denied.

I don't really go far enough in the car to justify one these days. I could use the phone though.

You could phone me! I can do dictation, and it'd beat the hell out of these bloody awful papers. God, they are SO DULL.

Stuff it. I've had enough. I'm putting them away until the morning and dragging out the story. So there.

Another late night then. Or another bunny bites the dust. One or the other.

I'll bear that in mind!

You have to have some fun in your life! Powerpoint can suck the soul out of anyone (though not as much as Word I've found). My new boss is a Powerpoint nightmare. I'm trying to make him something slick, professional and clear and he wants to stuff everything onto one slide! I'm so glad I'm not a graphic designer sometimes, fugly PP slides make me cry.

I think I should get to bed soon, the heating's gone off. Brr.

These slides are fugly. I have to follow the client's template, and make sure I get every relevant point from each paper, while not using too many words, and no complicated graphs, and in as few slides as possible.

*sigh*

Write some porn. That'll warm you up :)
