Oh, he's been pretty good lately, in an angsty sort of way. But I don't have time for him and his charms at the moment, so he'll probably be sulking by the time I get the work bollocks completed. Why do we put up with them?

He likes a bit of Angel bashing, but I fear I'm not up to the job of writing the broody one (not compared to others I could mention, anyway :)

February... That's soon, isn't it? Let's think - F's birthday on the 10th, so not that weekend. Following weekend is half-term, so no escape on the Friday (I could do a Saturday nighter - probably, if himself hasn't got an OU tutorial that weekend). Weekend after that we have a big family shindig of the compulsory-attendance variety. Weekend after that is March - my birthday and I live in hope (but not really in expectation) that the family will spoil me...

Bloody hell. Complicated, innit?

March - it's our anniversary on the 1st but then things calm down a little until April when we start thinking boaty thoughts and I'd really like to have a nice pampering girlie weekend Chez Hesadevil before then. So put your thinking cap back on and check the diary for middle to end of March.

I suspect there's a no returns subclause in the small print based on the fact that once he's in your head he's pretty much custom made. But - have to agree, he may be frustrating, but I wouldn't change him either.

Hee! I do try to get him to take all this seriously - you know, plots, sub-plots, character development, that sort of thing. But - sometimes the muse prefers to have fun. Much like his alter-ego, bless him :)
