Layne felt her cheeks getting all red, and said defensively, “It was an outburst of emotions. I couldn’t really tell what I was feeling for you back then.”
“Really? To me it was all too real to forget. Too much if it was just an outburst of emotions.”
“You’re really too much to handle! And why do you suddenly hold my hand this provocatively?”
“I miss you, and I’ve always wanted to hold your hands this ‘provocatively’ ever since I set my eyes on you.”
“Ugh! You’re too embarrassing! Let go of my hand.”, Layne said shaking her hands off of his.
Just when she was successful enough, Kye suddenly pulled her in closer and gave her a kiss.
“GAAAH! Kye!”
“What? We’re no longer kids, and you’re no longer my teacher. Don’t be so embarrassed! I could do it again if you want.”, Kye said as he gave out a smirk only a little devil could do. He pulled her in closer again and said, “Layne, I love you… more than you could ever imagine.”, and gave her another kiss, one that’s deeper, sincere and full of longing.
“Kye?”
“Hmm? Want more?”
“SHUT UP!”
Kye laughed.
“Something’s been bothering me.”, Layne said.
“What is it?”
“All this time, why haven’t you told me Jenna was your sister?
