Observing kindness
Today I was blessed to substitute teach in a special needs classroom at a local high school. The most refreshing part of my day was watching the student aides come in during each class period and be so helpful, treat the special needs students with such respect and kindness. These students included football players and beautiful girls....the "popular" kids. It made my day to see that even though teenagers often have the reputation of being self-centered and reaching out to others, they were a good example today of being Christlike. I'm thankful for the chance to work there today.
