Now I know that I'm going to be moving out of my house I can't wait!
It'll be so good to live with someone who pays bills on time, who doesn't feel the need to belittle everything I say, and who is actually capable of having fun. I will miss Ciara though.
I can't say that I'm not a little nervous about the move, after all I haven't known Ruby for that long, but I know we will be fine, we get on great and have similar tastes in just about everything. We haven't found a place yet, but at least we have a time frame in mind which means I can remember that I don't have to put up with it for much longer when Nick starts being Nick.
Had a great night on Saturday. Ruby's loverly mummy Jane was up for her birthday so we took her out for a girlie night. Much alcohol was consumed, and much harassing of young wen was done. Twas fun! (I'm sure photies will follow over at
ikkleruby soon!
We ended up in the Reflex where we danced like loons to cheesy 80's pop and then went home and I fell into a little heap. I had to be up at 7 the following morning to get the beast ready for an action packed day. Maybe the alcohol wasn't such a good idea!
I got sent on another flying lesson by my lovely horse on Sunday. Not his fault this time, we were out doing cross country and he decided to throw in a flying change (change his leading leg) one stride before a jump. That completely wrong footed him and he had no choice but to screech to a halt. Muggins here was expecting him to take off so was slightly forward and went sailing over his ears, landing on the other side of the hedge in a muddy ditch. The funniest thing I have ever seen was Murphy's confused face looking over the hedge at me as if to say "what on earth are you doing down there?" I crawled out of the ditch, grabbed the beast and this time we actually managed to go over the jump together. Hmmmm, maybe I should invest in some wings? Well, coming off three times in the two and a half years that I've had him isn't bad, just seem to be doing it rather a lot recently!
Anyway, here's a picture of us just about to set off and looking all smart.
