is it more adventageous to know someone with all the answers or to know someone who asks all the right questions?

First of all we have to see what we understand by advantage. An advantage is a means, an object or a given fact for a certain goal. Therefore if you use people, as the means, for a greater goal then I can criticize your question by saying that it is simply immoral to do so, as each one of us should be considered as an end in itself. But then you will say that you consider the advantage as a given fact. For example being born in the same family as such a person, alright ( ... )

kantianism is the moral theory that we should not treat people as means but we should treat them as ends thereby respecting their "human dignity"

I wasn't saying I didn't know Kant's views about the matter, I'm simply stating that it is a strong basis for morality.

i'm a big fan of questions. i used to play this game when i was a child. the game was "ask me anything and i will give you a truthful answer." let me know if you want to play sometime (caveat: it is a horribly irritating game)
