Let me just take a moment, to congratulate the mariners as a franchise, organization, and ball club. Congratulations M's! You've just made the worst move in the history of your organization!

The Mariners, have decided that because they are having a bad season, that they want to try and salvage it, by getting rid of Brett Boone and bringing up some idiot, jose whatever the fuck his name is.

What the Mariners don't understand, is that, there is no possible way for them to end this season with a penant, or even participate in a penant race for that matter. So all they're really doing, is getting rid of one of the most beloved players on the mariners team.

There are certain players for teams, that transend beyond just the game, they change teams, generate fans, and give stadium a sense of identity.

The mariners could not be a ball team without any of their players. Every player has an important role and contributes to the team as a whole. But lets face it, certain players belong here. Seattle was once home to Ken Griffey Junior, Alex Rodriguez, Jay Buhner, Randy Johnson, Edgar Martinez, and Dan Wilson...just to name a few. With the loss of Griffey, A-rod, Buhner, Johnson, and the kingdome, the Mariners struggled to hold on to that team identity, and the fans were left to pick up the pieces of their baseball-lovin' hearts.

But soon, Safeco was built, and it grew on us, and we began to accept the loss of the kingdome when we became blinded by the bright lights, the sun shining down on us, and the smell of fresh grass.

Introduction of players like Ichiro, Brett Boone, moyer, and the re-introduction of an old favorite Jeff Nelson, With a great season last year, players and fans went into the 2005 season with high hopes.

The failure to bring in wins this season, however, have left fans feeling frusterated, and the retirement of Edgar Martinez made some fans downright uninterested. But the introduction of new players Beltre, and Sexson brought just enough excitement to keep us all watching, seeing what is to become of our new players.

Now, in the middle of the season, the Mariners management has chosen to 'fire' beloved second baseman Brett Boone.

Very very poor decision for the mariners as an organization. Not only are fans going to be very disappointed in the loss of one of the mariners "home" players. But, fans are going to be downright pissed off that the decision was made in such a brash, uncaring manner.

Brett Boone cried several times at a press conference yesterday. He doesn't want to go, yet, we're getting rid of him. It's ridiculous. The organization is claiming, "we're not getting rid of Boone to hope for a better season in 2006, we're choosing to do it now in hopes to still salvage season 2005. The organization is implying that they blame the losing 2005 season on Brett Boone, which is absurd and will anger seattle fans.

With newspaper headlines reading "M's lose Boone but finally win", i can honestly say, the only reason im going to the game on the 15th, is to get my free M's visor (offered to the first 10,000 women fans). And, only because its pink and i like free shit, NOT BECAUSE I SUPPORT THE MARINERS MANAGEMENT IN ANY WAY SHAPE OR FORM. YOU ALL SHOULD BE ASHAMED OF YOURSELVES, AND, I HOPE THE YANKEES PICK UP BRETT, BECAUSE THEN, NOT ONLY CAN HE PLAY WITH HIS BROTHER AARON, BUT, I HOPE BRETT JUST KILLS THE MARINERS IN HIS FIRST GAME AGAINST US AS A YANKEE. PAYBACK IS A BITCH YOUR STUPID IDIOTS! PAYBACK IS A BITCH!

PS. THANKS FOR TAKING DAN WILSON OFF OF THE ACTIVE ROSTER ALSO! UGH!...(EDIT: NEVERMIND, HE TORE HIS RIGHT ACL, BUT IM STILL UPSET)

YOU KNOW MARINERS, IF YOU'RE NOT CAREFUL YOU'RE GOING TO LOSE ME.
