*deep breath* this is gonna be a long one. . .
highlights of the week:
Tuesday night was my first night back at younglife at the school for the deaf and blind. It was soo amazing, heres a wonderful story:
After club I was sitting and hanging out with everyone and next to a blind girl, amanda. One of the deaf girls, davia, came up to amanda and grabbed her hand. Amanda quickly said "who is that, who has my hand?" Davia put her hand inside of amanda's and begand to fingerspell A-M-A-N-D-A. A huge smile came across amanda's face and she shouted "DAVIA!" and waved with huge excitement. Davia then did the name sign that she gave amanda inside amanda's hand. I was so amazed and excited. It turns out that the Blind girls have been learning some sign language to talk to the deaf kids.
Im telling you what, these kids amaze me! they are such amazing people. . . wow!
Then last night i went to the whilte lion for "good will hunting" where you were clothes from the good will. it was so super fun, i got to dance the night away!!! I love dancing, esp at the white lions cause it was super fun!
