Hi, I am alive!
Apparently I have gone two months without posting, I am such a bad LJist! Normally I usually say its because I have no life and struggle to come up with anything to say, but I have been on holiday in these past two non-active months to Egypt again, but this time I did stuff and took pictures so I really should have bored you with pictures of old blocks and acted like the geek I am, but I have been far too lazy and not bothered!
Anyway to force me back into good LJ practice I am forcing myself to post every single day this month with this meme (except, apparently the last as it only goes up to 30):

Hey Jude - The Beatles
I think I like this song because of the backstory to it, although it does have some gems of lyrics.
I love this song so much I even attempted it on karaoke when I was in Egypt. It was going well until the eleventy billion na na na nananana nananana Hey Jude!'s
I've even sung it down my mobile phone whilst pissed as a fart.
I also love Wicked Little Town by John Cameron Mitchell from the Hedwig and the Angry Inch musical just because it is a lovely song with beautiful words and fits so nicely with the reprise of it by Tommy Gnosis, when he is asking for redemption near the end of the musical. It's one of those nice songs like "lean on me" which basically says if you are alone and lonely I will always be there for you; a lovely message which I approve of.

And tonight I shall be watching the second part of Dr Who (I am not a real big fan of Dr Who but I do tend to watch the Christmas specials, but I have to say I was semi shouting at the tv at the mess of part one) and The Big Fat Quiz of the Year, although I am upset that Noel Fielding is not on it...what about the Goth Detectives!?
