KILLING ME, this is killing me. The textures and atmosphere of it, the LIGHT bleeding through her, the tattered scrappy edges of her, the parts where she's just fraying but hasn't split yet, the feathers, everything, and what an amazing pose. This is chilling and beautiful and I love it.

I'm so glad you like it! Your prompt was pretty creepy in and of itself- I was so worried that someone else would claim it before I'd gotten a chance to finish this. I couldn't stop picturing Claire with light coming out of the frayed and threaded holes in her skin. (Feathers are for added creepiness.)

Hahahahahahaha. Oh my god, I was so confused, you don't even know. When I first read the comment, I was like, "oh, yay, Gabby really does like it," but then I saw that it was a different username, but I couldn't figure out why someone else would reply to my reply to you, and then the journal was empty so I didn't know who it was, but I figured I wasn't any less flattered if it was someone else saying that, but I still didn't know if it was secretly you changing your username, and in conclusion my brain doesn't work very well at two in the morning.

You're still awesome. Even when you moonlight as a crazy person.
