IT'S ALWAYS ALL ABOUT EYEBROWS, MAN. Heeee I make sure to draw Sam's mole every time! But then I scan it and am like wtf got on my paper *erase* oh wait.

Hahaha oh god no I didn't do that myself, Sam's plaid was a texture I nabbed from deviantart. I c/p'd it and rotated to get the pattern to change for his sleeves, and then did the shading as a separate layer. PLAID FOR GREAT JUSTICE

Textures are seriously my best friend. They make everything look like you spent about four hours more than you actually did. I MEAN HM WHAT CARRY ON NOTHING TO SEE HERE

I am a total DIY perfectionist type but too lazy to carry through. I have dreams of making textures of my own, but you are RIGHT that would mean taking hours more than I would have to if I just used other people's textures! So, no worries :))

Hahaha usually when I am drawing in pencil I try to approximate patterns, but then when it comes time to scan and color I am always like THIS TEXTURE WORKS SO MUCH BETTER. It's, uh, selective perfectionism?

selective perfectionism

I believe this is what my dad calls "work smart, not hard", and I support it as a lifestyle choice :))
