I know it's been forever, but I figured I'd give an update.
I've been having a hell of a time connecting through my network to get online for about a month, now. The last time I wasno longer able to connect was sometime early Sunday morning. I just figured out it was because they set their network to refuse all traffic, unless it was from my roommate's laptop. To make a long story short, I set the router to my roommate's MAC address and presto, I'm online. I've been too tired to deal with it much during the week, so it took me...oh... 2 hours to figure out what was going on. It was easy after I figured out they were denying DHCP (getting an IP address automatically) along with DNS (what turns sites like livjournal.com into the computer IP address of the computer that actually hosts this site. It's like an internet phonebook) to everything but my roommate's computer.
I take it I might actually know something about networking.
Other than that, I graduated Thursday night. My classes finish in June. Associate's of Arts in Computer Science. Arts degree for a science... you figure that one out. My gf rocks and it'll be 4 months we've been together, soon. My family's proud of all the growing up I've done over the past few years. My sister hates me, but she's doing a lot better. All in all, how am I?
