What childhood toy did you desperately want that your parents refused to give you? Do you still think about getting one?

Man, if my parents wouldn't get me a toy I wanted, I'd make a deal with them to save my money and pay for half and get that shit at Christmas. Or I'd just plain save all my money and pay for it entirely by myself. How else was I gonna get a $100 American Girl doll?

I'm pretty sure the only thing I really wanted and never did get was cooler Playmobile stuff, like the pirate ship and the cowboy fort. They gave them to my brother instead and wouldn't let me buy it off of him when he didn't want them anymore. My future daughter is so getting the gender-neutral and awesome "boy" toys if she wants them.

Icons make everything better. As always, opinions and constructive crit are greatly welcomed and encouraged.
