I've been mostly silent for a couple of months. Last month, we all traveled up to Idaho to visit some of my aunts and uncles, so that they could meet Doyle. It was a long trip, and we all managed to get a horrible cold, except for my father-in-law, who managed to also get a really bad asthma attack from all of the smoke when we returned. The long and short of it is that we've all been sick for almost a month.
Some of you are probably wondering what Doyle is up to these days. So, here's a short video to answer that question- he's chasing the Roomba. Of all of the many toys he has, the floor vacuuming robot is his favorite.
The moment I missed taping (and would have killed to have recorded)- Doyle climbed up into the entryway of the house (it's one step higher than the floor), and then waited until the Roomba passed underneath him, and jumped on top of it (actually, more or less flopped on top of it). It was a brilliant strategy.
