From the newswires, a 74 year-old grandmother in Naples, Italy, came home from the market with a sack of potatoes, washed them off, and discovered that one of the potatoes was actually a live grenade. The grenade was without a pin, and was of the type used by U.S. soldiers during World War II. It is believed that the unexploded ordinance was harvested with the potatoes in France.
