Biography
Many years ago a naive girl named Alice Douglas stumbled upon a man while she was on holiday in France. She was immediately smitten. The tall fellow and the girl spent the entire summer drinking and wasting days on the beach, completely at ease. Alice thought she'd met the man of her dreams. So when she discovered that she was with child, she thought nothing at all of telling the man. He, as is not uncommon with many a young man, wanted absolutely nothing to do with the woman or the child still growing within her. Alice left for home not soon after that fiasco, degected but still very much in love with the father of her child. To this day she still views the memories of that summer with the greatest of fondness.
Alice's son arrived in the world on 03 December 1960 in a charming cottage just outside of Burton-on-Trent. When she took her first look at the boy, she immediately saw countless shared features, from proud chin to bright eyes, between her little one and his father that she felt it only appropriate to name him after the man. Thus arrived one Robert Jacob Molineux, Jr.
Young Robert has always enjoyed a fair amount of praise by his grandparents and as such he's grown to view himself as special. He eagerly awaited for the owl with his acceptance letter to Hogwarts so he could prove just how brilliant he could be. To this very day, he still delights in the fact that it took the sorting hat a mere two seconds to place him in what he considers by far the ONLY house worth anything at his school.
Physical Appearance
Robert stands at approximately 1.79 m, though he often slouches so he doesn't look so thin given his build. He mostly scowls but can muster a charming smile should a pretty young lady pass by. If one bothered to search his person, he always has the following items with him: cigarettes, a box of matches, his wand, and comb.

Rob is generally an agreeable young man. He can be quick to anger should someone insult those whom he considers friends. He enjoys playing pranks, especially on young students. Or old students. Or really anyone who is simply asking to have a prank played on them.

Etymology
The name Robert has its roots in Old German and may be most simply translated as "bright fame". His surname, Molineux, is but one of many variants of the last name Molyneux, which has its origins in the French province of Normandy.
