Ok, here are my meme answers Jule...
1. What is your favorite food to cook for others (a specialty, if you will), and what is your favorite thing to make for yourself (a comfort food)?
Seeing as I have no signature dish, even though I was supposed to have one by now, this question is tricky. I think my bruschetta, guacamole and caprese are all pretty good. Yeah, I'll go with that...
For myself, I like to make pasta or rice with tofu and vegetables. Not too labor intensive but I can throw a bunch of junk on it and it tastes good...
2. What is your ideal job?
In theory, I guess my ideal job would be something where I was making a difference, getting paid well, interacting with great people, not working with micromanagers, working with promoting the arts, not sitting at a desk all day...
as for a specific job? i think "cheese-taster" would be pretty awesome...
3. If you had to pick a theme song for yourself what would it be?
Good question...i think it would have to be Superstition by Stevie Wonder...not because of the lyrics but because of the bad-ass funkiness...i could see myself having that play every time i walked into a room and strolling in dancing...that would really be great...
4. Would you consider adoption, either in addition to or rather than having biological children, and if so would you look to adopt from inside or outside the US?
I think adoption would become more of an option if i found out I couldn't have kids...if i can, i don't think i'd adopt...i wouldn't rule it out though I don't know if I would...if I was going to do it, I would be open to adopting a child from anywhere...
5. What one thing do you most have in common with each of your parents?
Well, I think my Dad and I have a love of travel and trying new things. Even if he doesn't travel anymore, he did at one time and can understand why I do it. We also really love food and eating out...
I think my mom and I have the same ideas about putting family first and generally treating other people well. We also think a lot of the same way about politics and such...
