New favorite show:
This week I discovered Torchwood aka 'the best show ever (other than Supernatural)'. It's a spin-off of the British Sci-Fi drama Dr. Who about a group of people that monitor all alien activity that comes into Cardiff, England via a rift in space and time that runs through the city. The head of the organization is Captain Jack Harkness. He's from the 51st century, he can't die, and he'll shag anything 'with a postcode', as John Barrowman (the actor who plays him) puts it.

Which brings us to my next point...
New favorite person:
He'll be 41 in two weeks, he's bloody gorgeous, ridiculously talented, and adorably gay. He married his partner of 14 years, Scott Gill, last year, and officially stole my heart last week.
He's beautiful, funny, raunchy, down to earth, and has the most incredible smile I've ever seen. Oh, and did I mention beautiful? Because... yes.

New OTP: (warning: boy's kissing)
And lastly, Janto, my new OTP.
Yes, yes, another one, I know. I believe this makes it to double digits now. (Can I still call them One True Pairing's if I have so friggin' many of them?) But they're so beautiful, and they kiss each other all on their own. I don't have to pretend or anything. *pets the pretty boys*
This is Captain Jack Harkness. One-time time agent from the 51st century, and now the head of Torchwood 3. -->
This is Ianto Jones. (Pronounced Yawn-to. It's Welsh.) He cleans up after the Torchwood team, get's them everywhere on time, and looks damn good in a suit. -->
And this is Jack and Ianto, know to us fangirls as 'Janto'. Their love is beautiful, but doomed, because not only can Jack not die (and thus will far outlive Ianto), but because Jack is a slut and will probably end up cheating on Ianto with Gwen this season, despite the fact that she has a fiance/soon-to-be-husband-come-episode-9 and has already cheated on said fiance with Owen Haper, her currently dead-but-not-dead co-worker. *is not a Gwen fan* Stop messing with my pairing, bitch! -->

Aren't they wonderful? I've already bought the season 1 DVD's and have spent waaaaaay to many hours this week googling both Torchwood and John Barrowman.
I know you all probably don't care, but I had to share with someone and when I tried to show my best friend she got all weird about the boy-touching. (Thank you Christian upbringing.) Ah well.
*goes back to stare at my pretty boys*
In other news, remember that
job I applied for at the zoo? Well, I got it. Go me!
It's nothing exciting, I only sell memberships and hand out tickets to the members that come for the day, but hey, it's at the zoo. It's a childhood dream come true, yeah?
That's all for now. Hope you ladies are all doing well. *smishes my wonderful flist*
