Self-absorbed much?

Hm.  It's not that I assume everyone is fascinated by me, but that why else have a journal if not to...talk about yourself.  The whole journal concept is really rather for the self-obsessed.  So yes, going to talk about my life, which is not particularly interesting, but certainly in upheaval right now.

My parents.  I finally called them tonight ( Read more... )

parents, work or lack thereof, politics, stupid people, christina is emo

I know you had to change a few things for it to fit your story, but I always kind of felt that Bellatrix Lestrange was a little bit…um…not completely…(forget about sane)...normal. I mean it seems to me that the only time in the books that she actually is able to make a coherent argument/conversation/talking in general, is when she’s talking about The Dark Lord, otherwise forget about it, she’s gone! She’s like this big Voldemort fan girl, I swear if JK Rowling decided to put her on a street corner in the next book selling “Support the dark lord” T-Shirts or something, I would sooo not be surprised, in fact, I half expect it. She probably kisses his poster before she goes to sleep every night. She's got all these weird quirks and strange behavior that puts her in a department all her own. I get that your Bellatrix Lestrange is younger then she is in the book, but still, I don’t really think this is something you grow into, I think she was just basically born with her head wired the wrong way. Your Bellatrix seems far more sane, where as the one in the book should get an award for Grade A nut job of the year (she could put it next to her Lord Voldemort action figure). My conclusion is that while your Bellatrix Lestrange is kind of an evil bitch, she hasn’t yet won(unlike her cannon counterpart) a designated room in the happy house.
My question is she going to end up like that at the end of your story?
