I'm sure my flist has exploded, I'll try to wade through it tomorrow morning, but for tonight:
One of the coolest things my Mom has from her childhood is photos of her TV as she watched the moon landing. So, photos of my TV. I couldn't be in Chicago, but I was there.
It's pretty epic, isn't it?
I don't want to put a damper on the night, I can still hear horns honking and people woo-hooing in the streets of Washington and I'm thrilled too, but I have something to say to Arizona. Though I consider myself a DC resident, I spent most of my life in Arizona, I grew up there, and tonight I am ashamed to say I am from Arizona. Nothing to do with John McCain, he was gracious and classy in his concession. No, tonight Arizona passed a ban on same-sex marriage. We've made great progress, tonight is indicative of that.
But we still have a long way to go, don't we?
