Travis & Natalie...(Backdated to Sunday)
It wasn't a date.
Natalie had to keep reminding herself that the relationship she currently had with Travis was mostly friendly. Civil, slightly awkward...but friendly. However, she was nervous. They'd seen each other plenty, but mostly with a buffer present and that buffer's name was Jake.
Uncharacteristically, Natalie was ready very early. Travis had agreed to meet her at her flat and then they'd decide what to do from there. An hour before he was to show up, Natalie found herself pacing like a caged tiger. That only lasted mere minutes before she started stomping around the living room of the flat she shared with Jake, picking up things and arranging things that didn't need to be arranged. When she ran out of things to move around, she wandered back to her room and started questioning her entire outfit and ended up changing entirely until she settled on the much more casual jeans and a cozy knit sweater. Who wanted to wear a skirt and heels in winter anyways?
Taking a few deep breaths, she grabbed a magazine off her dresser and headed back to the living room to wait.
