Sims and James

James is home. He's completely overwhelmed with joy, and it's weird how he's going round seeing things in a new light. I've been rather negative regarding the whole situation, but his enthusiasm is a little infectious. I've been grinning almost all day, despite myself. He's been doing things he hasn't been able to in more than a year, like playing his flute. He was able to pick Aiji up, as well. Not for long because she's half his size, but he was so happy.
Things really may be okay.
