Katie: I stopped dating a guy who didn't understand the magic of books.
Me: As well you should have. As well I should have; James hates books.
Katie: He is dyslexic though, at least he has a reason
Me: So he's told me for... nearly eight years, holy fuck.
Me: Eight sounds so much larger than seven.
Katie: That is a lot of years, my friend
Me: That's close to a decade.
Me: They could make a VH1 special on my relationship.
Nothing like lung transplants and books to make you realise that you're getting fucking old and domestic.
