I'm slowly getting better. It's a process. One that I'm remarkably good at, true, but a process nonetheless. I'm speaking again and doing domestic things like laundry. I was able to call HotDad yesterday so that Aiji and Grete could meet up and have fun on Canada Day. And from what I hear, even though I wasn't able to go, the group had fun. I stayed home and watched Sybil with aura218. Things are settling down and I'm adjusting to the change in cast remarkably well, all things considered. That's really all there is to report.

1. Grab the nearest book.
2. Open the book to page 123.
3. Find the fifth sentence.
4. Post the text of the sentence in your journal along with these instructions.
5. Don't search around and look for the "coolest" book you can find. Do what's actually next to you.
6. Get people to guess the book, if they want to. No googling!

Here it is, and I don't think anyone will guess it: "From 1999 to 2000 alone, US cocaine emergencies increased 4 percent, heroin emergencies rose 15 percent, and methamphetamine emergencies lept 29 percent, all reaching record peaks."

Boring, that.

Another, this time, in fiction: "'Tomorrow, Lo. Go to bed, go to bed--for goodness sake, to bed.'"
