Oh the terror
I overheard a hideously vapid conversation today between a customer and casheir at Blockbuster. The customer was a 20 something woman who was renting the movie Bride and Prejudice, the Baliwood version of Pride and Prejudice. She was renting it in order that she didn't have to read the book for a class she is taking. While discussing her difficulty in finding a Pride and Prejudice movie that would keep her interest, the casheir responded, "Well, it's still Shakespeare."
