I’ve just waited an hour and twenty minutes in a queue to book a Tesco delivery for the week before Christmas. That’s much worse than the midnight sessions I had to have earlier in the year. ‘We’re sorry for any inconvenience and thank you for your patience’. I am not a patient person and nearly fainted with the stress of it. When I finally got on, I could only get a Monday slot, which means I will have to pay for delivery. I have midweek delivery saver and today’s booking was supposed to be for delivery saver customers. Customer loyalty? Counts for nothing.
Update. Just out of curiosity, I Googled 'complaints about Tesco on Twitter'. Blimey! Too many for me to read them all. Some people waiting over two hours? People having three devices open at the same time (app, PC, laptop) to see if one was quicker than the other? Getting on the site at last only to have it crash? Oh, Tesco. You should have been ready for this nonsense.
