Holy Geekiness, Batman
Some of our friends came in from South Carolina this morning. While they're here, one of the things we plan on doing is having a geek fest where we'll bust out my Star Trek Scene It and Jessica's Star Wars Trivial Pursuit games. So we say hi and talk for a minute when Ash tells me he has something he wants to show me and pulls out a bible for Star Trek: Deep Space Nine signed by Majel Barrett. He told me he was at the convention where she was picked to present the new spinoff. I, not surprisingly, geek out and immediately start reading everything (interesting tidbit: Julian's last name was originally Amoros, not Bashir). As we were leaving he told me to take it with me saying he's read enough times and I could have it. Oh, I'm in geek heaven.
