Where I've Been
It's been a crazy past couple of weeks for me, so I figure I'd let you know what I've been doing instead of writing here:
- Spent about 36 hours in the Greater Cincinnati area so I could take my sister, step-sister, and best friend to the damaged goods store for Old Navy, Gap, and Banana Republic; crash at Jessica's for the night; hit up IKEA; and then they went to King's Island while I hung out with my friends and their new daughter.
- My step-mom's condo sold so we've been packing up stuff here, moving her stuff here, having boxes everywhere, renting a storage unit only to go back a few days later and upgrade to a larger storage unit, and just trying to stay sane with everything.
- Worked a few days at the daycare at church bright and early in the morning.
- Made the most awesome I Spy page for said daycare kids.
- Interviewed for three jobs: turned down on one, haven't heard back from one, and have a second interview next week for one.
- Went out to Pennsylvania with a friend for another friend's wedding, which was a great time.
- Holiday World trip on Saturday (hello Lazy River).
- Monday I will be leaving the house around 7am to drive up for second interview in the northeastern corner of Indiana, only to pray it goes quickly enough that I can bust my butt down to Kentucky for an interview down there (where I would love to be living in a month). Since I don't want to be driving home, I'll be crashing at Jessica's that night.
- Family reunion with Dad's side in Destin, Florida.
- Quite possibly apartment hunting since I'll--fingers crossed--have a job. Just wish I knew in which state the apartment will be located.
