SRING HILL!
life changing. this was the best decision i've ever made, EVER!
we talked about Identity the whole weekend, and i feel as if the shirt i was wearing;
the shirt that was my identity, is completely different. My soul feels cleansed. We got there, and my church was the first church to get there. so we got our bunks settled, went to the welcome area, and got our group photo taken. after that we went into the main hall and we saw RED UMBRELLA play. they were there all weekend. THEY ARE THE SEX.<3 so good. i got so close to touching the hot guitar player, but then he started to jump around and such. I GOT THE FLOWER FROM HIS GUITAR STRAP. its awesome. uh, basically the night went on. saturday. BROOM BALL. best sport ever, seriously. we were team "Umney". everyone got hyped. i played goalie in every game for the 2nd and 4th period. we won every game. so today we had the final four playing. we played some crappy team. but nick from my team kept high sticking. so this kid got a one-on-one shot against me. that was the only goal that managed it's way past me. =/
we won the championship game! <3333333 four years in a freggin row for my church. HOW AWESOME!?! the speaker at each service, Jeffrey Dean, he was amazing. he said one thing that offended me, just the way it came out. he said "....it's like you're spitting in God's face..." ok. no. say it, nicely, and it might have been better.
i met a boy named Brandon there, he lives in Grand Rapids, hes awesome, cute, funny, hes just cool. i adore his hair too. i met him through Lauren. He was really fun to go tubing with, and to hang out with. we did Open Mic Night together. =) this weekend consumed me in crying, laughing, thinking, feeling, intensity, no sleep, getting sick, leaving with no voice. it was PERFECT. i couldn't have asked for anything better then this weekend.
i learned so much about myself this weekend and i really enjoyed it. i feel so awesome, and i really hope that this feeling never goes away, but i know it will eventually.
