up way too late
Huh. I should go to bed, and yet, I am not overly tired.
Still nothing on the job front. Sigh. I'm getting frustrated and more worried, but I will eventually prevail! I know this.
On the up side, my muse is coming back slowly, and I've written close to 1000 words in the last two days on a novel plot. I wrote two full scenes and puttered on a third, and what's funny is that it seems to really be coming together. I even have photos chosen for a few characters, and on the hunt for a few more. Woohoo.
Utterly addicted to Jon McLaughlin's new album "OK Now". It's phenomenal and I adore him! The mom and I both bought copies on Tuesday and I can't stop listening to it. I love new music!
The dad and I are going to Reedley on Saturday morning to watch his 7th and 8th graders play football. Should be a good time. Heh. Am going to spend the weekend with the parents and wash towels and sheets and things (as my washing machine is very small at my place).
Made a baseball themed wallpaper for my computer today. 'Tis my beloved Timmy, of course. Heh. He just makes me smile. Speaking of baseball, I LOVE Philadelphia, man. I really do. Cole Hamels is my temporary boyfriend. Hahahah. I kid, but he's adorable and once he settled in, he rocked. Go Philly. *g*
Also? CSI made me sob. It's the first time I've watched it in a long time, and man. It was awesome. That's really all I can say, and I plan to watch the ep again while at the parents house this weekend. Meep.
Yeah. The bed calls now. As does my big fuzzy blanket, because it's getting freakin' cold at night! The oversized stuffed monkey sitting on my bed also calls to me. Hee.
