(no subject)
no black eye. I was kind of hoping for one. but my face is really sore...which is not a feeling i've ever felt...
Funny things that happened today.
After i got out of being the rheumatologist office for THREE HOURS. I needed a beverage, so i stopped at this deli place on my way to the parking garage. I waited in line then got to the front and said to the middle aged black man working there "hi, i'd like a large diet coke please"
and he just stared at me
and i waited a second...and just looked at him, and my eyes got wider like "is there a problem?" type look
and he continued to stare at me
then he kind of closed his eyes and shook his head really quickly like he was snapping out of a trance and said "woah. i'm sorry....those blue eyes...that hair..." then he squeeled and spun around in a circle.
i laughed out loud and turned red.
when he was giving me my change he said "i wish you could stay here with me"
and i was just like "haha..thanks..."
weird!
Then i got to play with conner for a long time. he's so fun.
THen Kristen and I did HOT HOT YOGA!
i think it's called bickram yoga. but whatever its called, we were in a room that was at 105 degrees for an hour and a half, contorting our bodies and sweating like CRAZY. i have not been that sweaty since i hiked up the volcano in the torturous heat/sun/humidity of Hawaii.
It was awesome though. It feels good to sweat that much. I would definitely recomend it. and i plan to do it again.
